If your robot lawnmower cannot find or dock correctly with the charging station, it is almost always due to placement, power, or incomplete mapping. Please follow the steps below in order.
Placement — distance and passage
The charging station must be placed on a flat and stable surface, and the distance to the power source should not exceed approximately 8 metres. The station should also be placed in the shade to avoid overheating.
Important: There must be a minimum of 2 metres of clear passage in front of the charging station. Without this, the robot cannot adjust its docking angle and will lose the station.
Power connection and LED indicator
Check that the charging station is receiving power. The LED indicator shows:
- Blue light: The station is ready
- Red light: The station is charging the robot
If no light is shown, the power connection and cables should be checked.
Mapping is not completed
The robot cannot return independently to the charging station if mapping of the lawn has not been completed. Do the following:
- Place the robot manually in the charging station and switch on the device
- Enter the PIN code (default: 0000)
- Start mapping from the menu
The robot will automatically record the area and return to the charging station once mapping is complete.
The lawn obstructs navigation
The robot may have difficulty navigating back if the lawn is not properly prepared:
- Remove loose objects from the grass
- Cut the grass to under approximately 10 cm before the first run
- Ensure all passages are sufficiently wide
