This article helps you resolve Wi-Fi connection issues with your robotic lawn mower
Please try reinstalling the app. It is important that you allow notifications during the app installation, as the app uses notifications during the connection process. Note that the mower only works with a 2.4 GHz network.
If this does not resolve the issue, we have some suggestions you can try:
- Distance from router: Ensure that the mower is not operating outside the Wi-Fi range. Walls and other obstacles can significantly reduce the signal strength.
- Interference from other devices: Other electronic devices such as cordless phones, microwave ovens, or other Wi-Fi networks can interfere with the signal.
- Physical obstacles: Large metal objects, thick walls, or floors between the mower and the router can disrupt the signal.
- Router capacity: Check if the router is overloaded with devices. Too many devices connected simultaneously can cause connection problems.
- Software updates: Make sure both the mower and the router firmware are up to date. Manufacturers often release updates to improve performance and fix bugs.
- Router settings: Verify that the router settings are optimised for connection. Settings such as channel selection and mode (2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz) can affect performance.
- Wi-Fi network configuration: Check the correct network settings and passwords. Ensure the mower is connected to the intended network.
- Signal boosters: If the signal is weak, consider installing Wi-Fi signal boosters between the router and the area where the mower operates.
- Contact your internet provider: Ask your internet provider if your router supports separate channels for IoT devices on 2.4 GHz
