Cleaning and Maintenance of Awning
Check and lubricate the gear with lubricant spray or acid-free oil at least every 3 months.
Wipe the metal parts of the awning with a tightly wrung cloth.
Regularly check that bolts and screws are tightened, and that the awning is securely fastened to the mounting location.
If you experience noises from the roller that the fabric is attached to, it can be beneficial to lubricate with lubricant spray. Remember not to get oil on the fabric, as it may cause discoloration.
