Replacement of Gearwheel:
To access the wheel motor, you need to remove the rear wheel by following the steps below:
The wheel cap is pried out with a large flat screwdriver.
Remove the nut, spring washer, and lock washer, and pull off the wheel (it can be advantageously placed under the robot for support).
Remove the 3 screws in the cover to the wheel motor.
Remove the motor from the machine by removing the 6 screws that hold it in place.
Pull out the wheel motor and remove the 2 screws that hold the coil on the wheel motor.
Remove the 5 small screws that hold the gearbox together.
Replace the defective gearwheel with a new one. Make sure to remove all remnants of the old one so it does not damage other parts.
Now the replacement is complete and the wheel motor is reassembled; it is important that the small wave washer in the coil is correctly positioned at the bottom of the coil.
