Welcome background

Distance to Obstacles - Grouw 600 APP Control

Distance to Obstacles

  • The boundary wire must be placed 30 cm from obstacles such as bushes, flower beds, trees, walls, fences, stone walls, and paths that are not level with the lawn.
  • Paved paths that are level with the lawn can be crossed by the robotic lawnmower, but ensure that the wire is not lying loosely on top of the path to avoid it being cut.

Note: When the sensors at the front of the robotic lawnmower detect the boundary wire, the robotic lawnmower will change direction.

Fencing

  • Garden ponds and edges under 100mm must be fenced to prevent accidents.
  • Be extra cautious in these areas, especially when the grass is wet.

Obstacles

  • Remove tree stumps, covers, and other objects that the robotic lawnmower may run over.
  • Ensure that these obstacles are level with the lawn.
  • If removal or adjustment is not possible, fence the obstacles with the boundary wire at a distance of 30 cm all the way around.

Tall Obstacles

  • Robust obstacles higher than 10 cm will be treated by the robotic lawnmower as an obstacle and will automatically change direction.
  • Fragile obstacles should be fenced with the boundary wire at a distance of 30 cm around the obstacle.
