Replacement of Gearwheel:
To access the wheel motor, you need to remove the rear wheel. Follow the steps below:
The wheel cap is pried out with a large flat screwdriver.
The nut, spring washer, and retaining washer are removed and the wheel is pulled off (it can be advantageously placed under the robot for support).
Remove the 3 screws in the cover to the wheel motor.
Remove the motor from the machine by removing the 6 screws that hold it in place.
Pull out the wheel motor and remove the 2 screws that hold the coil on the wheel motor.
Remove the 5 small screws that hold the gearbox together.
Replace the defective gearwheel with a new one. Make sure to remove all remnants of the old one so it does not damage other parts.
Now the replacement is complete and the wheel motor is reassembled. It is important that the small wave washer in the coil is correctly positioned at the bottom of the coil.
