Replacement of Backup Battery - Garden 800m2 APP Control

Replacement of the backup battery

Start by removing the battery and the top cover.

The procedure for removing the battery is described in the user manual.

Once the battery has been removed correctly, proceed to unscrew the four bolts holding the top cover in place (indicated by red circles).

After removing the battery and the bolts, turn your robot and lift the top cover, setting it aside (it remains connected with two sensor cables). You should see something like this:

These red arrows point to the four screws located 5 cm deep under the height adjustment button. They need to be removed; otherwise, the chassis cannot be separated from the top cover.

After removing all screws, the robot can be opened.

The backup battery is a standard CR1220, located in one corner of the board.

Replace the CR1220, and then reassemble the robot by following the steps in reverse order.
