Connection of Charging Station - Adano 801WL 800m2

Connecting power to the charging station.

  • Connect the plugs: Connect the charging station's cable to the power supply's cable.

  • Connect the power supply: Plug the power supply into a 230v socket.
  • Secure the charging station: Once the charging station is correctly positioned, secure it to the ground with the 6 pegs through the mounting holes.

  • Be careful with the boundary cable: Avoid hitting, stretching, or breaking the cable when screwing in the pegs.
  • Check the installation: Check the indicator light on the charging station to ensure that everything is correctly connected.

Indicator LightMeaning
OffThe charging station is not connected to power.
Lights green (symbol 1)The boundary cable is connected correctly, the robotic lawn mower is ready, and the battery is fully charged.
Flashes green (symbol 2+3)

There is a break in the boundary cable.

The ends of the boundary cable are connected incorrectly at the charging station.

Correct the error

Lights red (symbol 4)The battery is charging.
Flashes alternately green and redMaintenance charging of the battery (trickle charging).

Error with the boundary cable signal:

  • Check the length of the boundary cable: Ensure that it is no longer than 250 metres.
  • Check the connections: Ensure that the connections are dry and correctly made. Use the supplied connector without stripping the cable first.
  • Measure the resistance: Remove the ends of the boundary cable from the charging station and measure the resistance with a multimeter. A new cable should have a resistance of about 2 Ohms per 100 metres. If the resistance is over 8-10 Ohms, the cable may need to be replaced.
  • Create a test loop: Use approximately 10 metres of boundary cable to create a test loop to check if the robotic lawn mower is functioning correctly. Remember to remove the ends from the correct boundary cable from the charging station first.

Using the connector:

  • Indicator light flashes green: This indicates a break in the boundary cable.
  • Prepare the cable: Cut the ends of the cable cleanly with a pair of wire cutters.
  • Connector: Insert the ends of the cable into a connector without stripping them.
  • Compression: Use a flat pliers to press the connector tightly, so the metal plate inside goes through the insulation and restores the connection.

When the indicator light is green, the boundary cable is likely laid out and connected correctly. Here are some simple tips:

  • Pegs: Ensure that all plastic pegs are driven fully into the ground.
  • Cable: Check that the cable lies tight and flat against the ground.
  • Signal: If there are errors, double-check the connections at the charging station.
